The Stratton is a men’s wool coat that has surpassed the finite and fixed quality that is associated with wool outerwear in more ways than one. At its foundation, the Stratton is a formal wool sports coat with standard slim blazer lapels, finished with three front buttons. At the next level, a ribbed wool collar can be zipped in and buttoned in to transform into a more casual double collar sports coat. At the micro level, the Stratton’s rain-wool fabric has also improved upon standard wool for the better. A hybrid between our rainwear and wool overcoats, the Stratton is delicately spun, yet resiliently worn. As a result of its microfibers, there is fineness to both its feel and sheen. The 31” Stratton is made of 100% Rain-wool. It has inset sleeves, a double ribbed stand-up collar, with double zip and button-up front closures. Details include an inner icon pocket designated for a wallet, two front flap pockets, a fully-lined interior, and a zippered chest pocket.
